I don't know about that exact senerio... But I do know that my friend and I who game share on Xbox one can play digital titles at same time/with each other so I would assume that you could play PC and Xbox at same time
You can play the game on both pc and Xbox through the play anywhere functionality but you must have the Xbox set as your home Xbox and be logged out of the owners account. Use a separate free silver account on the Xbox to play simultaneously.
It's more of the same. It was difficult to finish because it was incredibly predictable. The banter between the characters made me wish there was an option to silence speech and just hear the sound effects and music. So, I agree with you.

Hoard mode has micro transactions up the bum but solo campaign and other multiplayer is fine and doesn't have anything non cosmetic
Nah just Xbox which I'm fine with.
