Due to protectionism, home improvement in the U.S. severely lacks innovation, 5 to 10 years behind. Tiles, sofas, etc are so expensive and yet so ancient in style.
While I am not a fan of this one (see what I did there?).
For you to call this ugly and counter with that one? Sheesh!

Why the return? Inquiring minds want to know. I've been looking for a 60-72" fan and have either missed the deal a day late or sold out online. I wish this were white and the blades of the brushed nickel seem to have a faint greenish tinge to them, but if they are always spinning and moving good air, is it so noticeable?

Not only ugly but completely non functional in comparison to what was posted. Indoor/outdoor, 72", brushed nickel...
Think that post was agenda driven and someone wanted to use the word protectionism.
Snow forecasted.

This fan has been perfect in our large living room with a vaulted ceiling. This is actually a good deal for this fan. Good find!

You can't call traditional ceiling fans ugly after posting a pregnant alien mothership.

My daughter has this fan. It is super quiet and moves some air! Just bought two and saved another 10%, along with another 10% off, made it $350 for 2 of these. Great deal.

It was mainly the remote, if you could set-up a switch control on your wall, one for the fan and one for the light and hardwire the light to get rid of dimming then it would be perfect. Sometimes you turn on the fan, and the light comes on, or vice versa. The dimming feature is absolutely horrible regardless. Fix those major issues and it's a decent fan.

Picked up the Kensgrove 72" from Home Depot last week for $219.

Can anyone speak of the pros & cons of the Slinger V2 vs Kensgrove 72" with regard to installation, air movement, quality and light emission?

Willing to return and rebuy if this is a better ceiling fan.
