I jod to this phone a month ago at a full price of $999. I didnt have to pay anything since im al well qualify customer. Today i spoke to tforce and explain the price change. They gave me $150 credit to my account
A price drop on a brand new phone plus there is a Buy one get 720 off so that might help.
Unfortunately, the $720 off requires an added line for two years. In my case, an added line is $20 a month and unnecessary, so that's $480 of added cost. $240 towards a second phone...

Yeah the deal is good if it fits your situation, which for most it doesn't fit, but for those that it does, it saves them some money. I've never done the Costco route to avoid bill credits but it's looking enticing.

Our plan covers me, my wife, and my parents. If we were desperate enough, I guess we could cancel, then sign up under my parents.

Interesting that you didn't have to pay anything on JOD since TMobile changed their policy on $1000+ devices for JOD customers, regardless of credit/account history
One of the reasons I held off, was the new downpayment requirement on JOD ( A+ credit and long excellent history with TMobile 6+ yrs )
Consider yourself lucky
Now, with the price well below a grand...it may be a good time to JOD on this.. My only hold up is.. my recent experience with Sammy's CS ( Gear S3 battery issue ) has me looking elsewhere.. but that damn S-Pen! ugh..
So I did the trade in thing at Costco when it first launched, and I paid the $950 price plus tax up front. Wts the best route to get that $80 price adjustment? tia!
Does anyone know if Costco is selling them for $870? The 9/21 deals have not been posted.
Just called and confirmed, its selling at $820 at Costco starting today.
the guy told me I can bring in my receipt and they can try to price adjust it for me on the spot. however he said their system is down right now so I should try tm instead
