sears and kmart should be dead soon as the ceo rapes it, it was funny stock used to be $120 and jim crammer used to bring him on every wheek and telling you to buy the stock and how sears ceo was the best in the business
They have a loan payment due the 15th. If they make it past that and restructure, they may last another year.
Otherwise, don't expect to get any pts.
That said, I just did a $75 deal myself at Kmart, but mainly because one pts payment will be sent in 24hrs (split into 3). It's something I'd buy anyway, so worst case it's a little cheaper than amazon. Best case they last until Xmas and I get my full pts back.

Or sooner than the 15th...
Lampert pointed to a $134 million debt payment due on October 15, and said the company must demonstrate to lenders by Monday that it has required levels of cash in reserve, which could itself prove difficult.
Are the points spread out over the next forty years?
Points issued in 3 equal installments of $25 each are only valid for 30 days of issuance. First installment of points credited to account 24 hours after transaction and valid for 30 days. Second installment of points credited to account on 10/30/18 and valid for 30 days. Third installment of points credited to account on 12/2/18 and valid for 30 days.

Hmm... what happens if he doesn't have the cash in reserve? Bankruptcy even sooner?
I'd like to believe Lampert can find the funds, since he's basically both the lender and lendee. Eddie needs permission from Eddie to sell Sears real estate to himself. Then again, one of these days his shell game will run out of gas and there won't be anything of value left.

He's been trying to sell himself (well, ESL) Kenmore but I don't think the board wants any part of that. All those news reports about anything being sold gives the most benefit to Eddie and not the company probably aren't helping matters any.

Eddie may have to make some sort of other deal then. Bankruptcy court is something I'm sure he'd like to avoid, even if he can't get Kenmore or takes a bit of a loss. It'd probably be better for him than regulatory agencies peeking at what he's been up to. I still don't get how what he's been doing is legal.

If not, don't forget pts can be used at Lands End as well. Although then they get you with shipping charges if
under $50.
