Just got this in email
Did you know your contactless Capital One® Quicksilver® Visa® card allows you to simply tap to pay for your purchases? Tapping to pay isn't just fast, easy and secure—it can also earn you up to a $30 bonus when you tap to pay 3 times each month through December 31, 2018. You don't need to register or enroll to receive your bonus.
3 Simple Steps to Your Bonus
Step1 Look for the symbol.
You can tap to pay wherever you see the contactless payment symbol at the checkout terminal—which you'll find popping up at more grocery stores, pharmacies and quick service restaurants every day.
Step 2 Tap to pay.
Just tap your contactless Visa card on the checkout terminal. There are multiple layers of built-in security to protect you, and even if you accidentally tap twice, you'll only be charged once.
Step 3 You're all set!
It really is that simple. So go ahead and tap to pay using your contactless Quicksilver Visa card to earn your bonus.

This limited time rewards offer runs from October 1, 2018, 12:00 a.m. ET, to December 31, 2018, 11:59 p.m. ET (Promotion Period), and is valid only for those account holders that received this promotional email. This offer is non-transferable to any other person or Capital One card account. If you upgrade or change your account to another credit card product, or if your account becomes delinquent, closed, restricted, over the credit line, or otherwise not in good standing, you will not be eligible for this offer. Qualifying cardholders are eligible to earn one (1), one-time $10 statement credit upon completing three (3) Qualifying Purchases each calendar month during the Promotion Period, for a total of up to $30. For this promotion, Qualifying Purchases are defined as contactless purchase transactions made using your eligible Capital One contactless Visa card at a contactless-enabled checkout terminal. To qualify, the transactions must: (i) be completed as a contactless transaction using the contactless Capital One Visa card; (ii) be identified as Qualifying Purchases as determined by Visa; (iii) post to the Capital One Visa card account referenced during the Promotion period; and (iv) be an amount of at least $1.01 or more. A Qualifying Purchase will be based on the date of the transaction and does not include pre-authorization transactions. Your Capital One Visa card account must remain in good standing in order to receive the statement credit. Returns for credit and purchases made through digital wallets, such as Apple Pay and Android Pay, are not Qualifying Purchases. Qualifying Purchases made by authorized users on your account will count toward this offer, but only one statement credit each calendar month during the Promotional Period will be applied to your account. The card used to make the third qualifying transaction will receive the statement credit.
Most credits will post within 5–7 business days after making the third qualifying purchase, but please allow up to 90 days to receive your credit.

This makes its as one of the best bonus for holding this card. A no hassle no fee and no particular retailer card
We in the US barely got chip readers, what're the likelihood retailers will even have these card readers. I was in the UK a few months back and everyone was tapping whereas I was the poor American who did chip reading... AND still had to sign a signature. I thought chip reading was secure enough to not require signature!

McDonalds has it.
What confuses me is, all the credit cards I have, including QuickSilver, don't do contactless payments (unless doing it through Samsung Pay or Android Pay).

Maybe you didnt get the latest card from Capitalone.. I have the quicksilver card under which this offer is tied to and it has the contactless payment chip embedded in it. It has a wifi signal sorta logo which indicates the same. Also i did pay today at my local costco via tap to pay. Check with capitalone.
