Would definitely recommend Hyper Light Drifter and Dead Cells if you're into difficult games with neat art styles.

Overcooked [microsoft.com] is free via Game with Gold right now. Also, the DLC The Festive Seasoning [microsoft.com] is always free, so should pick that up too.

I might pickup the DLC The Lost Morsel [microsoft.com] for $1.65.

Stay away from Stardew Valley... unless you want to loss 200+ hours of your life. Excellent farm game. If you haven't play it's a must play.

Agreed, dead cells is a blast and even on pc best played with a controller. Stardew valley is cathartic to play; even if it doesn't look like your jam, you should play it because it's perfectly balanced to be fun and relaxing without being mindlessly easy or boring. It's got basically everything in it and really never makes you spend time on the parts you don't care about.

I couldn't get into it. Played for about an hour and it seemed like I was walking around more than anything else. Heard it's a hoot though if you can really get into it.

Yeah that was one thing that was kinda lame for me playing it but you could also get a horse and use the train system to move around alot faster if that sounds like something that might make you want to give it another go 🌱👍

Momodora is good if you like old school metroidvanias with excellent sprite work. Challenging too if going for all achievements.
