I ordered a v6 refurbished and I was disappointed by how dirty it was. Thankfully I'm not a germaphobe, but I expected better. I'm thinking about calling Dyson to complain honestly.

That's what I am afraid of. My wife is a germaphobe. Is it worth it to save $100-150 though? That is the question.

Just ordered the refurb V7 last week from the same place, going to be delivered tomorrow. Is the V8 alot better than the V7?
Can I refuse shipment to be returned and order this one instead?

I bought a V7 Animal+ from Costco at around $400 before the V-series vacuums started liquidating like crazy. While the vacuum is a life changer in terms of usability and cleaning power, I am disappointed in the battery runtime. Only lasts about 20 minutes if I run it constantly. The V8 has a more powerful motor and a slightly longer runtime. Even refurbished, this seems like a steal.

I ordered a V6 a while ago and it wasn't dirty but the clear canister was scratched inside, something that will happen anyway. The rest of the unit looked new
