I got the BF1 $5 deal last month I think and haven't even installed it yet. Destined to be another shameful addition to my infinite game backlog.

Bought it a week ago with the previous slickdeal. I'm not a fan of multi player games , but for the price it was worth the one campaign I played and there's 3 more.
Who likes multi player will enjoy it even more. I tried it for a couple of hours and had no lags or issues

Is this game still unplayable? I've been away for about a month, but it was non-stop lagging/rubberbanding in servers everywhere. I think they moved BF1 to the Pentium 2s to clear up server space for BFV (the diverse and inclusive edition).

If you are referencing PC, I've never had issues with servers, been playing it off and on a lot more recently and has been fine

This game has a campaign worth $5. A PvP experience worth $0 Because there's about 3 AFK players on all the servers combined.

staying a generation behind in pc hardware makes sense, but playing old multiplayer releases just gives you a crappy experience. just wait and get bf5 if you like bf.

bf4 still has a lot of active 3rd part servers, more than bf1 i bet. no one is going to stay around and loyally play bf1 as long as bf4.
