Coupon code: PICKFIVE - $5 off (probably limited to items sold by Managed Payments Sellers).

This isn't a regular site-wide eBay coupon, so you'll probably be wasting your time if you try to use this on most items, so my apologies if I set off your eBay coupon alerts, most people probably won't waste their time trying to find an item to use this on. I think this coupon is like last weeks Perk15 code that only applied to items sold by sellers that have already been transitioned to eBay's new Managed Payments checkout. Most sellers still accept PayPal, so their items probably won't be eligible, none I tried were. So this code will probably only apply to a very small percentage of items sold on the site, which means it isn't nearly as good as last weeks $5 off coupon. If the seller accepts Paypal, this code probably won't work.

Sorry, I don't know of any way to limit your searches to Managed payments sellers only. There are several thousand sellers that have been switched over to Managed Payments, but most sell junk, so it may be hard to find something worth using this coupon on. I bought some generic lightning cables from: https://www.ebay.com/str/professi...olsandmore nearly free after the $5 off coupon, and my brother got a few watch and remote batteries from this ebay store: https://www.ebay.com/str/legendsdistribution . Both are managed payments sellers, which makes me think this is a managed payments only coupon. There are probably better items to use this $5 off on, I just didn't want to waste time trying to find them. Hopefully eBay will send an email later with a link to all eligible items.

Heard if you opt in, you can't opt out. Also no PayPal payments, not 100% sure on that though.

Opt in to what? It's a coupon code. I didn't have to sign up/opt in to anything.

Saw this earlier on a product I was looking at but can't find it anymore. Looks like it barely applies on anything and you can't pay with paypal which is a dealbreaker.

If a seller opts in to eBay payment method, they can't take payments via PayPal. Again, not 100% sure

Here's a link to last week's thread on the Perk15 Managed Payment coupon. https://slickdeals.net/f/12096646-15-off-ebay-managed-payment-sellers-ends-today There were a few ideas thrown around in that thread about how to find items sold by Managed payments sellers. That's how I found the seller selling the generic lightning cables I bought, through a search tip in that thread about searching ebay item descriptions for the words "Managed payments". The cables I used the coupon on will probably stop working in a month, but for the few cents I paid after coupon, they'll do as emergency backups. I listed it as a $5 off $5+ coupon, but I don't think you actually have to use all $5, we spent over $5 in our purchases, but I think the coupon can probably be used to get anything up to $5 for free from an eBay managed Payments seller, so you don't really have to do any out of pocket spending or enter credit card information for orders under $5, unless they change it. The problem is finding items to use it on since eBay doesn't currently allow us to refine a search to only include Managed Payments sellers. The few sellers who are advertising "Managed Payments" in the descriptions of their listing (so we can find them in search results) will probably do well from these Managed Payments coupon promos.

My guess is most of the sellers who have opted in to accept payments directly through eBay probably sell under multiple user ID's. One User ID for eBay Managed Payments, and one or more IDs that still accept Paypal. I don't think I would want to opt in my seller account right now, unless the payment fees were a lot better. I have the micropayments fee pricing on one of my Paypal accounts that I use for small transactions under $12. I doubt the fees for eBay's Managed Payment sellers would beat the micropayments fee plan PayPal offers, at least not for the low dollar transactions. Compared to regular Paypal fees, Managed Payments may offer sellers better pricing. At this point though, it's going to be hard for eBay to persuade buyers and sellers to abandon PayPal.
