To calibrate a Ryobi inflator, hold the + and - buttons at the same time while the inflator is off and not connected to a tire until the display shows all zeros, or for some models, hold the Power and Start buttons for a few seconds to "tare" the pressure. This process resets the zero point of the gauge and is especially useful if the inflator is showing a pressure reading while not in use. Little trick for this unit

The only problem I have with that one is it loves to jump-scare because the trigger is super sensitive. You look at it wrong and it kicks on and barks for a second.

I can't comment on this particular model, but I have another Ryobi inflator (shaped for like a drill) and it's excellent (I think I paid somewhere between $40-$60). I have a slow/inconsistent air leak in one of my car tires, and the one I have took the tire from around 12 PSI to 33 PSI in 1 - 2 minutes. The only flaw with it is that it seems to read the PSI a bit high (maybe around 10% higher than it is) which is not a big deal, just account for that when you're using it. If this one is even 1/4 as good the other Ryobi model, I'd consider a great deal at $25.

Only if you want to buy a Ryobi battery and are open to buying other Ryobi 18v tools.

Ego batteries are way larger than the 18v Ryobi batteries. If Ego releases a tire inflator it will be significantly larger and more expensive. Not familiar with Bosch.

If you don't have any ryobi batteries and aren't looking to get into their battery ecosystem, it's not worth it at all. If you are just looking for a battery powered inflator HD has this on sale as well for $30

t's not as powerful but it charges via usb and comes with a small battery. Looks like it struggles to fill car tires though.

Good price, I have the old model which required you to hold a trigger and it was about half the speed of this one so this is a great upgrade.

No If you are on the Bosch ecosystem where you have multiple batteries. You might can find a battery adapter that can connect your Bosch batteries to the Ryobi system. Currently, there is a decent deal on a $100 Ryobi starter kit which includes 2 ah, 4ah, charger, and a select tool...

Bought this same price in December. Used it a couple times to inflate a minivan Tire. Hose gets hot somewhat quickly. I just pause and wait for a minute before continuing and complete the inflation. One quirk is that when setting a low PSI, e.g. 10 psi, it would only continue inflating if I press and hold the power / inflate button I don't know if this was only my device or on this particular model.

Anyone experience this?

Highly recommended this. It's saved my ass many times in the year I've owned it so far. Works fast and is fairly quiet for what it is. $25 is a solid deal. That's what I paid. One tip is this reads 2 PSI lower than what's actually in the tire. So always go 2PSI over
