Wow. The price keeps going up on this. Got it for $18 before BF last year reg price $24. Then it was on SD for $24 reg price $30 around Feb. Now the SD is $30

Great tool though

Nice find at $24.50 with free shipping at DTO for "factory blemished".

As a prior post mentioned, the lowest price around BF was $24 at Home Depot.

I have two of these units and they both work better than the previous versions of Ryobi's tire inflators (I have 1 digital and 1 analog version of the upright grip versions). These newer units are good for setting a target pressure so that the unit can stop.

Be aware though that the pressure gauge can be off, so I would confirm with a separate tire pressure gauge and then you can adjust for the variance when you set it.

This is my experience with this tool as well. When I inflate all tires to 35psi, each one can have a different reading afterwards. I usually inflate to 2-3 psi higher than needed and then adjust each tire using a pressure gauge.

Will give this one a try. The cheaper handheld units off Amazon all have various quiggles, and this one seems to get great reviews for inflating/topping up tires.

Rats bought this two weeks ago at $40 from Home Depot.

Does anyone know if they price match for the difference? Or do I need to go through the whole return and rebuy?

This tool is great but it failed on me a lot quicker than the two handheld trigger type units from Ryobi. Started smoking and grinding like crazy and then just stopped. This is from light household use topping off. After less than a years

The Ryobi 3 year warranty sucks too. Called them Jan 3. Did not get my new unit until April 24!!! In between I had to do 5 calls, sending receipts, dealing with the gatekeeper retail repair store near me.

I own 3 of these, the oldest being almost 2 years old, and use all of them weekly with no problems. Sorry you got a dud. If 1 of my 3 had the same problem you did I'd still buy another, but if all 3 had the same problem then I'd switch to something else.

I bought this when it was $20ish and I can highly recommend it. Way more convenient than dealing with your large compressor if you have one to put air in car of bike tires.

That's all dependent on being in the ryobi ecosystem, mind. I doubt there's anything that special about it if you don't already have the batteries floating around your home.

For what it is worth, it actually did go lower.... $19.97 when I ordered it from Home Depot on November 26, 2025,
