For those that don't know, these digital Ryobi inflators can easily be reset to correct the PSI readings. Put a battery in, turn it on, hold + and - buttons together until the digital screen resets. This will make the reading accurate to within .5 psi if yours is not correctly calibrated from the factory

This beats the old version by miles. I switched all our crew to this style. No more waiting around to hold the trigger. Set the psi and it pumps to the exact number

Seems like bad design with batfery on bottom vibrating...

I have both the trigger and this version.

This one has auto-stop buuuut this one seems less durable than the trigger one. (I had one dead on arrival from home Depot)

Any reason why you'd need both? The combo does this plus more no?

How does this sound? The trigger one is obnoxiously loud.

I agree about the benefit of set and forget on this, but a rubber band solves the problem of holding the hair trigger on the old style.

Just bought this last week for regular price. Oh well. It worked great. It's got a digital gauge. You can set the desired psi and it has auto stop.

Has the P747 been discontinued? That model had the best all around design and feature set.
