This is an excellent watch for tracking most workouts. May be not swimming because it's not waterproof, but otherwise pretty solid for workouts, has an excellent AMOLED display and the OS is far better than WearOS. Samsung Pay works like a charm as well. The newer models don't build too much on top of this IMO (for the price difference)

And somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I'd heard that they took out the MST chips in the newer models so Samsung Pay won't work in most places like it used to with the Gear S3

That was a price mistake and I doubt if the price was honored. But it was good for credit card price protection(I was approved for that price)
