These will not work with Bose QC 25 without an adaptor as Bose headphones use a 2.5 mm plug for the headphone socket

Why that and not this?
You may need a 3.5mm female to 2.5mm male adapter. At that point, it be sticking out way too far.

Would work fine, but I doubt it will fit without an adapter cord. For a few more bucks you could get something that plugs right in with ease
