I did. Seems like hit or miss. Overall, the price is right though. This is definitely an improvement over the jack that came with my truck... so ill take it.

Based on reviews, sorted by both popular and recent, I'd avoid this product.

These work great if you have a truck or SUV. Too tall to get under most cars.

The benefit of these are that you can put your jack stand on the correct jacking point for your vehicle. When attempting this with a separate jack stand and floor jack, you will often bend the unibody flange because one of the two devices has to push on a non-reinforced location.

I will say that the safety catch is not very intuitive. It is not obvious whether it must be raised or lowered to lock/unlock.

This looks like some mechanical engineering student's undergraduate capstone project.

Seems like you'd really want to practice the counterintuitive operation to avoid embarrassing fatal mistakes

Is it better for the jack stand to be used on the non reinforced section or the floor jack? I just had this problem the other day while changing my engine oil.

Jack stands always go on the reenforced section. Cars usually have a small section near each tire and a front and back section. Use the floor jack either in front or back side of the car to lift the car evenly, then once high enough, place the jack stands. NEVER go under a car with a jack holding it up, that's why there's jack stands.

I have a couple of sets of these and they work great. They jack up well and lock in place.

They work pretty well for off road as well. Used them on my 4x4 ambulance.

I just bought these a few days ago. Will be returning them. Too tall to fit under my Honda Pilot, which is certainly not a small SUV.
