Jump on this deal y'all. I bought it like last month for 1499 I believe, I'm liking the tv a lot. Mine came defective but Sony's customer service kicked ass! (Surprisingly)

wow.. that is a pretty good price.. this is probably where it will be until later this year. wish there was a better deal with an ebay bucks offer though. not bad right now though.

Anyone know what kind of warranty is offered by them through eBay in case the tv becomes defective?

Weighing the pros and cons of buying here vs somewhere local like Best Buy.

EDIT: appears that they do offer factory warranty. Anyone knows if local stores might offer any additional protections that buydig would not?

Most local stores will offer easy returns and add-on extended warranties (extra fee).

In short if you found it for the same price locally you would be trading sales tax (assuming BuyDig doesn't charge you any) for easy return/exchange.

Reading their return policy, it looks like you pay return shipping even if the item is defective.

Got this for $1399 in late August with no tax from them, and price matched to a switch/bait site and got $200 back. Smilie
