I just got this card used a month ago for $235 used on ebay, in someone's rig for mining. It was a great value, ran okay, but I could hear some coil whine, and it's overclocking performance was lacking due to power limiting. Coil whine is something a lot of manufacturers don't cover under warranty for the primary buyer. Well, I was going to just send it back to the seller and have it refunded, but instead I decided to call EVGA and see if they covered it under warranty.
EVGA covered it under warranty for me, as a second hand buyer, no receipt needed, just the cards serial number. I paid 10 bucks to ship it to EVGA, and they sent me a brand new one, free shipping 3 days after mine got to them.
I don't think I will buy a non EVGA card anytime soon, US support team was super helpful and saved me a ton of hassle. If you got this far, and were on the fence, just buy it, you won't be disappointed.
