I've owned this card for a couple months now and it's been rock solid. The full length cooler with the shorter PCB does an excellent job keeping this thing very cool.

I posted this in the last thread for this card but I'm gonna repost it since it's still relevant: Something to note since PowerColor does a craptastic job of letting you know, there are two switches on this card, one's for the BIOS and one is for the Red Dragon LED. The switch closest to the PSU connectors is the LED switch (on/off). The switch closest to the display ports is for the BIOS. On the BIOS switch, with it in the position closest to the display ports, it's in Gaming mode (however you decide to name it). With the switch in the position closer to the other switch, it's on Silent mode. On Silent mode the fans don't go above 1,500 RPM, and you see a very slight performance decrease. I leave it on Gaming mode. Hopefully that helps someone because I googled around when I first got the card and couldn't find much on those switches so I had to test everything to figure it out.

there was some discusión on the reddit page earlier about how this is a very generous deal. I was going to save up before getting a gpu, and seeing how navi turns out but this is such a good cost to performance that I ended up getting one

relatedly, anyone want to buy some game codes?

Getting close to the $300 used ebay price. This is an amazing deal. Was $380 last week. 1070-1080 equivalent, depending on the game/app, and the drivers are linux native. Just plug it in and go.

It'd be a good deal if it wasn't power color. Their shit sucks. Please prove me wrong. I wanna buy one but just can't get behind this company.

How much of a sound difference is there between the modes, and how much of an impact is there on thermals?

Gamer's Nexus did some crazy awesome power mods with this card, seems like a good one:
