Also, when you switch from Intel to Intel.LMAO
AMD Ryzen processors get you far more bang for your buck. Intel has been asleep at the wheel for too long and allowed themselves to get caught again. We're probably 2-3 years away from Intel reclaiming their dominance.

This is the same from earlier this week but slightly cheaper. Just remember you'll most likely get the bottom of the barrel components with these prebuilts. There was pretty good discussion on that thread, for anyone curious: https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/12166258

Could you provide any insight to what makes a good component vs. Bad? I've always wondered...isnt a 1070 ti the same regardless of who puts the fans on it? If you have any articles or discussions itd be appreciated.

I posted the deal I linked above in Reddit a couple of days ago, which resulted in some pretty in-depth analysis of the parts. It should get you started, but a lot of it is just researching. But no, a blower 1070 to (one fan) is pretty inferior to other 1070 TI's. See more here: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc...it-android

If only it was an Intel processor.. I've always had AMD processors/cards because of the price point but really want to go full Intel and NVIDIA on my next rig... is that irrational?

At this point now isn't the best time to choose Intel. Your last build probably should have, but this go around it doesn't make economic sense for most people. Nvidia on the other hand is absolutely the best choice in graphics. AMD is barely competitive at this point. I really hope they get their act together on the graphics front.

So it's better to go with a AMD now? Sorry for the newbie question. I'm looking to build my first ever gaming rig and I'm trying to get all the information I can.
