Note 9 128gb is $250 off ($750) plus up to $600 instant credit at best buy for trade in. No new line required. No bill credits. No penalty for early payoff. No mailing stuff into samsung and praying.
Traded in my note 8 for $500 gc which was immediately applied to the cost of phone, so total about $10/mo x 24 months, which i will immediately pay off once I get the first Verizon bill.

$1000 (actual price) - $450 Trade-in (S8+) - $250 Instant Discount = $300 + $82.50 (TX tax 8.25%) = $382.50.
I paid them $7.50 using my card and have them apply $375 towards 24 month DPP; $375/24 = $15.62 per month.

Be careful on the swap/sell with any BOGO. We did Pixel 3 deal at Best Buy and reps said they would not take responsibility if Verizon stopped credits. Apparently Verizon has changed their rules, phones can be swapped within the same account but if they are sold and become active on another account, one could lose the credits.
I have received mixed responses after trying to verify with 2 corporate Verizon stores and customer service.
