I have my first child. He is 4 months in a week. Would this be appropriate for a 6 month old?

Still learning their capabilities everyday!

Congrats! Probably too young to really play with it, but i'm sure he'll grow into it. I think it'll be at least 1-1.5 years before he's able to play with it. My son is 2 now and he can fully play with the cars but i don't remember how old he was when he first started getting into it.

At 6 months, he'll prob just gnaw on it or push the pieces around, but it's still a good way to introduce textures and play. You'll see some exponential learning once they hit the 1 year mark.
