Nice post.......
FM transmitters have always been a pain in the ass for me, but for $10 I'm willing to give this one a swing. Like the voltmeter component, large screen, and thought of turning our 2005 model car into a hands free phone compatible vehicle.
Thanks OP
It's super easy to use, it takes aux, Bluetooth, USB and microSD inputs if I'm not mistaken. Call quality isn't great, but what do you expect from a tiny mic that's several feet from your face? The charger is okay. 2.4 amps is not quick charge 3.0, but it's relatively fast. I also like the voice they used to tell you when you're connecting. The one on my BT speaker is annoying. This guy sounds cool, like he's preparing me for some smooth listening.
You might also check you cable if you're using aux.

Is this any better? I'm looking for th best quality hands down
Wish I could recommend it, it's extremely clear, i've never had much static issue like other bluetooth devices, but the disconnecting is frustrating!
Someone told me on here that getting a cheap Chinese one of Alibaba or AliExpress or something is a good option, since the transmitters are stronger and not FCC compliant

That would be correct, I did an entire study and constructed one for my undergrad class. FCC regulation requires all FM transmitters supplied to the US to operate within 88.1 MHz to 107.9 MHz and be underpowered, but you can technically transmit on 87.5 MHz to 108 MHz if you find one that can (outside of the US). If anyone is caught transmitting outside of this range and distance, I believe it is a pretty big criminal offense.
I recommend OP to just get an entire new headunit with basic connectivity like Bluetooth and USB. They've gotten much cheaper now that everyone wants the Apple CarPlay/Android Auto feature.

Props to you for doing that. Is there any way I can read the study?
