    I bought 2 off Walmart clearance rack for $15 each. BB-9E. Previously I bought 1 BB-9E from Best Buy at $35. These will go lower. They don't work on carpet.

    IMO, they killed the BB droids by making the sound come from the app instead of the droids.

    The BBs were first gen and are basically just re-skinned sphere balls with a magnetic head. The newer toys (R2, mcqueen) have a speaker built in.

    The one thing that Amazon seems to have stayed ahead of the curve with is the bands. Every time I've checked they were competitive.
