whats the newegg return policy on refurb? Does it even worth trying? I can get HP Omen 27 for 230 but those are TN and I do need a pair for web and development
It is IPS per specs that you clearly did not look at before posting. Or the specs are wrong and you know more then me...
I just bought an LG 24MP59HT-P from BB for $109 to use to work from home. The Dell Latitude E5440 I was given as a loaner laptop seems to be able to support two external monitors with one on HDMI and one on VGA using the internal 4400 HD gpu that comes with the i74600u. Thinking maybe get this too to have 3 screens. Both do not have vesa but not needed for now.
Is the resolution sufficient for web browsing, MS Excel and MS Word? I would like to buy it for the office too but worried the resolution won't be sufficient for a 27" screen.

Opinions vary here. I would personally say that 27" is as big as I would go with 1080P. I've seen some still look good at 32". I'm going to be using these on either side of a 34" LG Ultrawide for watching news on the left and security cameras on the right. In my opinion this monitor would do just fine for what you're wanting to use it for. It also has great reviews in most places I looked. A lot of people said they enjoyed it for gaming as well.
