Great find!! Wanted to buy this last month but missed an Ebay sale by a few hours. Almost pulled the trigger on one of the cheaper Li-Ion jump boxes for BF but the NOCO quality is supposed to be much better I'm really glad I held off. Can't believe they put this back up so low, the last great deal I remember was around $79.99!

Was just coming to post the same deal. If you are in the market, this is the best deal around for a portable, compact charger.

Missing the cigarette lighter socket that is common to The higher end jump starter like this so you can use it as a power source.

Random comparison:.

I would stay away from those. Those are Chinese knockoffs that are mass produced and relabeled. The reviews are normally bought as well. Wouldn't say higher end.

A great deal about 5 bucks cheaper than I bought it. 77 after tax on Noco's Black Friday sale. Jumped too soon I guess.

For me, even with 3 vehicles on the road in a cold climate I think quality jumper cables, roadside assistance, and a plug in jumper/charger for home cover my bases really well and none of them rely on an internal battery that will also eventually fail.

I do think this is a solid brand though, I'd trust it more than the off brand cheapos for sure, I have a float made by them and like it.

Agreed. It was a random comparison.

The point was that We should compare it against the traditional lead battery jumpers and again, they usually come with usb port and the cigarette lighter port so to use as a power source for appliances.

The GB40 is great and is surprisingly capable for its size. I've used it a number of times since I received it as a gift and it has worked flawlessly every time.

I used it recently to start (twice in a row) a 1995 Mustang GT (V8) that had been sitting for a year and a half. The lead acid battery in the car was completely discharged, but the Noco started it without issue.

I would highly recommend this jump starter to anyone.

Do you have to keep an eye on the battery every so often?

Also no case? I see a lot of cases listed
