Home Depot's Black Friday deal that was $399 is now down to $349. This is the one of the lowest prices I've seen for an inverter generator. Limited amount of reviews, but their other inverters review well. 30 day return policy just in case. Available online and in stores still.

The reliable 80cc Champion engine produces 2000 starting watts, 1600 running watts and up to 11 hours run time at 25% load when the 1.1-gallon tank of gasoline is full. Including two 120V 20A household outlets and a 12V DC outlet, this inverter operates at 53 dBA from 23 feet – about the same noise level as a dishwasher.

Is this thing brand new to the market? Never seen one of these before. If they have the quality of their other larger generators, should be a very good buy.

I have an older model inverter Champion, looks like they've updated the style to look more like the others in this class. Mine is more of a square like the one in the video. Had it over 6 years now, starts right up every time I use it. Usually 12+ days a year running from 1-8 hours at a time.

Like but with tax its similar to tax free offerings out there. Some of which are dual fuel or can be dual linked.

The benefit there tho is its home depot if u have any issues down the road..

Also notes its only 1600 running watts (2000 starting)

Hmmm, I've been eyeing the Yamaha-powered unit at Costco, but it's a hundred bucks more when on sale. This might be the better choice?

Fair on the running watts rating. Although for some reason it seems to be almost industry standard to rate open frame generators at running watts and inverters at starting watts. The Honda, Ryobi, Champion, and Generac inverters are all rated at running watts primarily.

Offering 20 amps isn't realistic or is a lie. That would be approximately 2,400 watts.

Correct, EU2200. Just clarifying that they still rate it at starting Watts and not running Watts.

If these are anything like their 3000w models, it seems like a great deal from a known, reliable company... But not with some dual fuel ones out there for about the same price, I'd be tempted to go that route.

That Medic guy will probably chime in soon.

Champion is trying to expand from a single 2000 watt inverter model to multiple models at multiple price points ,all with the same basic power output. Most of the differences between seem to be features like LED displays, included cables, etc. as opposed to differences in the engine or inverter itself. This one is a new model and the low end in terms of features and price. Apparently it doesn't come with DC battery charging cables, oil, or some of the other extra tools that some have in the box. It doesn't have a USB port, but it DOES have a fuel cutoff position which very few 2000 watt models have other than Yamaha and the latest Honda. Champion has a good reputation in the RV community (who make heavy use of small generators).

Based on their website, the comparison of the three 2000w in this form factor (vs their older, square box design), this is the better of the 3 models when it comes to GFCI, covered ports and covered circuit breaker...

The yellow one doesn't have either of those, but does have the fuel gauge and output meter (a Kill-A-Watt will fix that for $28), and then the other black model with a bit different design puts out 1700w vs 1600, and doesn't run as long. Really weird that companies go to the trouble of making three models that are almost the same.

If these drop lower over the next couple of weeks, it'll be a slick deal for sure. Unfortunately, the local stores only have 1 or 2 each, as usual for Idaho. One store down in Reno area has 12, and another has 7.
