Picked up for $498 in store. Was looking at this model for months, lowest price I've seen ever. This is still listed at $798 on the Home Depot website. I also squeezed another 10% off because there was a small scratch on the lid. Now, I know how these ymmv deals go. Check out your local Home Depot because some are going to be trying to remove these from their floors to make room for the 18 drawer model.

Anything for this toolbox is always extremely YMMV.

I've checked every Home Depot around me and none have carried this box or the new 18-drawer toolbox for months.

They had it as a display model. When I bought mine they had 2 but no display model later when I picked mine up the put the other one together to be display model but the price was still 498 even though the price tag says 698

These are very hard to find in the store. I went to several and found 1 store in my area that had it high on a shelf in box. I called all the stores first and they all said "it's discontinued so we don't have it". Total bullshit bc all they do is look on the web like we do. In my case, Brickseek was correct and this store had 2 packed on a shelf, despite the phone person saying no. More than likely, you won't find it, but still fun to try

I think you need the in store product number as the web one has a different number. Did the web product number work for you on brick seek? I think in the past it just shows OOS in every store when I tried it even for a store that I know had them.
