LG SK10Y 5.1.2-Ch Soundbar w/ Dolby Atmos Expired

I had this from previous deal, initially super excited about Dolby atmos but it disappointed me and I returned it. Some points about it:

1. Positives: Build quality is excellent. It's very long but looks well built, fits 65 inch TV well. It remains stable in the table. The sound can get sufficiently loud to fill an average living room. These are probably the only positives about this sound bar.
2. Negatives:
— It's software is poorly designed. Despite the firmware upgrades, and adding the optional rear speakers, I never got sound separation. Only movie mode allows separation in different channels but even that is not well implemented.
— while the firmware upgrade definitely improves dialogue ue in normal mode, the dialogues are difficult to understand and center channel adjustment couldn't be made for Dolby atmos. It was very annoying at times. For this particular soundbar, Dolby atmos is a gimmick that is poorly implemented.
— I'm not a person who likes to blast bass but still the subwoofer feels underpowered
— I'm no audiophile but the sound is very ordinary, there is no premium feel at all — I'd describe it as noisy rather than quality.
— Worked well with LG TV but had sync issues with Sony TV . Could be unit specific as I only tested one.
— I got a much vizio 3651 which is a 5.1 system from Costco on Black Friday deal for 150 with low expectations . I was shocked that this much cheaper sound bar blew away the LG in terms of sound quality. It doesn't have Dolby atmos but sounds excellent - great vocal clarity, just enough bass, great sound separation in different channels.
— LG May update firmware and it may get better but I feel the original price of around 1000-1200 is daylight robbery for this soundbar. Even at 400, it's still expensive. Maybe 300-350 if they include rear speakers is fair price.

My personal experience with this seller buydig has been excellent so far. Wouldn't hesitate to get any items from them if needed something.

I order this two weeks ago. The packaging came damaged in one corner. Didn't think much of it but when I started using it, the center speaker had a pretty bad rattle with some music. (First noticed it with Halsey - Without Me ***don't judge me for my taste in music LOL***) It sounded like a blow speaker or horrible distortion. I can't be certain if that's just how this soundbar is or if the shipping damaged it. If I changed it from Standard mode to Movie mode in the app, I don't notice it as much but it's kind of a crappy workaround. The other issue I keep having was the subwoofer disconnects once in a while. Tried to re-pair and different locations and it still did the same thing. They sounded nice when the sub didn't disconnect and there wasn't distortion.

Bad part is, BuyDig (bought through eBay) doesn't do exchanges so I ended having to just return it. I told them I purchased at lower price than what they had listed at the time (~$800 before this sale appeared) and they said they couldn't adjust. They said they'll happily assist me with the return after I initiate it through eBay.
