Currently $140 on eBay from CPO. With 10% bucks it's a better deal. Some may have tax. Either way this is pretty much standard price.

Is there any reason to get 3/8' over 1/2" ? or is it just what sockets you have?

It pretty much comes down to sockets. Since the whole idea of this is how compact it is, you don't really want to be adding length with an adapter, so it makes sense to buy one that matches the sockets you'll be using with it most often.

This isn't your primary impact. That's 1/2". This won't do suspension. This is for tight spaces and speed.

I have the 1/2" stubby and it has the same specs as the 3/8". It has more than enough power to do suspension stuff. I don't think I've ever seen a suspension bolt tightened past 250lbs. This has worked on wheel bearing nuts and crank pulleys as well as wheel lugs.

It's the best stubby impact on the market. Highly recommend it. I bought the 1/2" stubby and a set of gear wrench impact sockets that go all the way down to 9mm. I decided with the 1/2" because an impact gun to me is meant for big bolts 16mm+. For light duty stuff I use the M12 1/4" fuel impact or 3/8 M12 ratchet.

What you should know is since it's such a stubby head with no taper, using deep sockets is must to have proper clearance sometimes.

I have the big 1400ft lb M18 high torque gun and this has taken it's place in the tool box and has been my go to.

What suspension specifically? This tool has 250 ft lb of busting torque. I have this exact tool and used it to swap out the steering rack in my car.

I used it to:
Remove 19mm lug nuts (torqued to 85 ft lbs)
Remove 17mm fasteners holding tie rods to knuckle
Remove 14mm that hold sway bar to subframe
Remove 14mm holding rack to subframe
Etc

Also as a demo I took off the lug nuts on my F250 (165 ft lb).

This is an awesome tool.

Also the reply from buyersremorse hah.

Almost bought one of these yesterday. Thanks for the deal. Saved me $40 compared to the price at Home Depot.
