1070ti for +$100 would be worth it. My random opinion though.

i was thinking the same but its for my 14 year old son who is really big into gaming and creating roblox and fortnight worlds.

He like the fact that the walmart one is liquid cooled and can change colors, LOL

plus he wants to overclock the 2700x so i thought the liquid cooled would be better,,,plus the 4 year warranty at walmart is only $77 bucks B+H is $299 for only 3 years

plus we live in NY so thats another $100 for tax

1070ti will let him play games probably another year or two before needing to upgrade the GPU. Plus, the 1070ti's with GDDR5 are supposed to memory overclock quite well.

Pretty sure there's no reason to OC the 2700X's anyway. They boost up to 4.35GHz per core and games typically max out at 4 cores. OC'ing all cores to 4.35GHz seems unnecessary since I don't think you'll see a performance boost.

Wouldn't a square trade warranty be cheaper than B+H?

Edit: Looks like B+H's warranty is close to Square Trades. ..
