Playstation Plus 15 months if you redeem 12/13 to 12/17

Hey guys

I bought a PS Plus membershi during black friday on Amazon for 40 bucks but only got around to redeeming it today. And I was surprised when the Sony PS store said that it was a 15 month membership when I only bought a 12 month. Wish I took a picture before i redeemed it. But I remember it saying

Offer valid 12/13/2018 – 12/17/2018

I am 99% sure it is for new members and not current members. I just bought the $42.50 on EBAY and received 15 months. I was hoping they would get the code in the email B4 the 17th (and not send by USPS) and it came this morning.

Friendly FYI. On your PS4, go to the top of the media bar and choose the PS Plus icon, then choose Manage Membership, then Subscription. Check your start and stop date. I say this because during the promotion you mentioned they changed the title of the one year subscription to read 15 months. However, if not mistaken, it is still one year unless purchased from them during the promotion. You can confirm at that screen. If I am mistaken, I apologize. However, I believe this is the case. That said, if you do purchase a subscription during the promotion from Sony, it is indeed 15 months.

Just confirmed this works for existing members and for purchases before 12/13.

On 11/17, I purchased a 1-year digital code from Amazon, and I when I go to redeem it on PSN, it shows as a 15-month voucher. It also states the offer is only valid from 12/13 - 12/17.

I took a screenshot. Anyone know how to share attachments on SD?

I check mine as well and it said 15 months memebership and I got it on Black Friday too but because my old one hasn't expire is on auto renew the 15 months subscription

I bought 12 month from Amazon on 11/17. When I went to redeem today it said 15 months but only pushed out my expiration date 12 months. Oh well!

YMMV. Just redeemed the vouch I bought over black friday. It says a 15 month subscription but it only added 1 year to my existing membership.
