I don't think they are disposable
My 2 daughters haven't been picky and we mostly used Medela bottles with them. But my son was picky, and this was one of only two kinds of bottles he'd use. This is a great price for them. If he was still taking bottles, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

They are definitely not disposable. I bought 4 of the 8 oz bottle for my baby and he used them for the entire year. They never broke down or got discolored. Great bottles.
