Already got one person to split the price for 3 of the 9 speakers.
I would like to end up with 4-5 total (5 is the max per system).
These should be perfect for a garage running on the A/C wall warts (included).
I've owned a bunch of bluetooth speakers and the one feature I wish they had was the ability to share the music source wirelessly. Apparently this SKAA technology is the answer.
I was looking into the JBL's https://slickdeals.net/f/12505573-jbl-flip-3-portable-bluetooth-speaker-refurb-40-free-s-h?prop=prd-... that were posted the other day and they seem to include this feature (only 2 can be connected on the JBL's) but from a per $ perspective, this seems better for my garage.
Also, these have 2.25" drivers vs the JBL's 40mm (1.57") drivers, so they should sound better.

Too bad this deal doesn't seem to be getting any traction.
Edit
Got in-store pickup.
I've had these running in my office for about 45 minutes, figured i'd throw some thoughts out there.
Of the 9 speakers, 1 is bad (crackles) and I intend to swing by and swap it later.
Testing them in sets of 3 at the moment due to accessible receptacles and spacing.
I've currently tried a mix of the black keys, alicia keys, system of a down, pearl jam, etc.
Sound quality 8 out of 10
Check your expectations at the door, these are meant for volume purposes and the bass will blow no one away.
Sound range 8 out of 10
Bass is on par with small portable bluetooth speakers.
High notes are crisp and unbroken.
Features 8 out of 10
Bluetooth works fine.
FM works really well for where I am (metal warehouse surrounding a wood and block office. it's like a faraday cage for my cell signal).
AUX probably works fine, i just don't have a cord with me.
Pairing them took less than 2 seconds...really fast.
Independent volume control (It's interesting for setup and room leveling purposes and with a phone on bluetooth it's easy to change volume as you walk).
One thing I can't figure out or it doesn't have is a master volume control while in FM mode (turning down one does not turn the rest down). It's not a deal killer, but it is disappointing.
Swappable battery is a nice idea.
I 3D printed an adapter to use m18 milwaukee batteries with ryobi tools. It's awesome.

Edit: I see now that you must buy the 2 pack to get the primary speaker.
I don't need all three sets, wondering if the return process is a pain for an online store pickup if I'm not returning the entire purchase.

I suppose you could buy the 3 starter sets and then sell the 2 extra primary speakers.
EDIT: I can't seem to find/get the expansion speakers at $20...

Looks like 2 speaker set. So twice the cost of this deal.
