The Great Courses Plus 14-Day Free Trial then $30/Quarter for Life

The Great Courses Plus has an offer for a free 14-day trial, followed by $30 every three months ($10/month). The price is supposed to stay locked in as long as you retain your membership. They have a great selection of courses in diverse topics, including astronomy, physics, history, crafting, cooking, painting, woodworking, dog training, and more. No coupon code required, just use the special link. This appears to be the best deal right now. Other options I found were 14-day free trial then $19.99/mo, $79.99 for 6 months, or $179.99 per year.

Great Courses are available on Kanopy (free).
Call your local public library for terms/availability.

Did you sign up and get the free 14 days? I don't see anything about it on the website or when I click to sign up and just want to confirm this includes a trial.

Is this for new members? The language on the signup page is: "Resubscribe now and get 3 months of unlimited access for just $30. That's only $10 a month and a 50% savings off our standard monthly rate."

I just corrected the link to the one that has the 14-day free trial. I'm sorry about that! I did sign up as a new member, myself.

I was given a gift certificate for Xmas. Can I use this to pay for my membership? Are all courses available to you if you sign up?

ugh, found out that GCPlus and GC are two different billing systems, so I can't use my GC gift certificate. And they don't have nearly the breadth of photography courses offered as the regular GC site. Something to keep in mind if you decide to do this.

Great point... my local library does not offer Kanopy. Also, I like the option of streaming on my AppleTV with the GC+ app, which a library subscription cannot accommodate.

Hi, I'm just wondering if you can help me, you've been in Great Courses since 2012 and know your way around. I have clicked the link for the Trial and $30/qtr, or $10/mos but when I get past the sign in to try to get to the window to pay it just spins, spins, spins.......Can you help? Or can you tell me how to get to product support? Thanks!

If you don't want to do the quarterly subscription, just do the free trial, then cancel and within a week they will send you an offer for $10 per month on a monthly subscription.

Some libraries use Hoopla instead.
