Deception: Murder in Hong Kong is one of my favorite social tabletop games. It's a social deduction game that's a bit more advanced than Mafia, but is still easy to learn and even people who are new to modern board games can pick it up quite easily.

No 2 games will ever be exactly the same. However, some ways to give clues may be similar/same. It really depends on the people you're playing with. Definitely one of my favorite games. I highly recommend it if you like deception type games

Thank you, hosting a board game new year's party and was sick of Avalon this should be a fun new cross between resistance and mysterium.

I've played it quite a few times myself....you can definitely replay this with different friends. I think it would be less few with the game group of friends more than 10x plays though.

Great Game... bought it for my son last Christmas. It is a hoot to play in a group of 5-8, I haven't tried it in a BIGGER group, but I can only imagine that it would be even MORE fun.

Lots of obscure board games on slick deals lately

This has been on my list for a while because of the amount of recommendations I've seen for it.

My favorite party game. I have the original Chinese version which is much more complicated and difficult to introduce to new players. The international version (this one) is more straightforward. We end up using the original version game but with international version's rule.
