Golden Arowarna Vinyl Plank Flooring $29.99 a case at Costco

Golden Arowarna Vinyl Plank Flooring $29.99 a case at Costco. $7 off. Two colors are available.

There is 16 sqft per case so its $1.87 per square foot. Its 6mm thick.

I put down 2 cases this weekend in hall bath room. It looks really nice for vinyl plank. It was easy to lay down. I laid it on top of some old vinyl flooring.

I do recommend a rubber mallet. You lay the pieces down, then once you get it set, several rows, you use rubber mallet to secure it in place. They are secured at the end to end. The ends protrude up, but with a couple of wacks, they are flush, and locked in placed. Once you set it, it's done. You can't easily separate the pieces. I messed up on the first row. You want to get a few rows set to make sure they are tight.

I cut mine with circular, jig and table saw, but they say you can score and snap. It cuts easily but it does leave little rubber shavings everywhere.

UPDATE: So I'm going to do my upstairs bathrooms next. I decide to create snap "jig". You can "snap" these planks, versus cutting. I recently purchased a LumberLok Plate Vise ($10 at lowes). I secured a 2"x2"x13" board to the the vise using some small pieces of scrap plywood. I then secured a piece of flooring to the 2x2 to act as a guide, as it is the exact thickness of the vice. Now I just have to score the planks, slip them in the jig, line it up, and snap them to length. The 2x2x13 keeps the board from moving upward as I'm putting downward pressure to snap it.
Good Deal?

I uploaded a photo. We wanted something that had good contrast with a wood flooring. I need change the threshold color..it needs a little more of a red hue to it.

What bothers me about flooring and things like this, is what do you do in the coming months/years and you need to purchase an additional piece for a patch or decide to do another room! Where can I get it since Costco will not carry it by then?

Just save an extra piece for future need. Put a few pieces in the back of the closet for a rainy day.

I rarely use every piece. What really sucks is when you just need one more plank....and you have to buy a whole box. Frown

I'd like to see more reviews of this before buying 2K sq ft. The "luxury vinyl plank" flooring they had at Costco in 2018 (Golden Arowana Jamestown Oak HDPC) only got 2.9 stars out of 5 on Costco.com so I'm concerned. Also, the flooring is a nice cool grey color with slight blue undertone. It looks fantastic with black, white, gray, blue and stainless steel, but it clashes with the more warm toned furniture and warm grays currently in my home. Costco also has a more neutral colored option of this floor (cappucinno), but if you open a box and lay out a section you'll see an odd stripe pattern.

I installed Shaw's Bella water proof LVT. Has the same wear level as the Arowana (20 mil)
More expensive but can be found on-line for around $2.50/sq ft. Link to Shaw page for reference:

They did and I am one box short Frown
The associate told me the item number was "deleted" so they stopped carrying it... for now. It may come back again as Costco items do.

I installed this last year...horrible product. The product page had bad review and I ignored them...lesson learnt. In less than a year the floors are separating, called the installer and he pulled one of the planks out showing that the plastic (which is what this is) has become brittle and the click lock are breaking apart. I did 2200sqft which costed me almost $7k...all down the drain.
