It's designed to be something you eat for energy so is high in maltodextrin. Think like a energy gel you use during long distance running.
People, these arent snacks for when you're sitting in your moms living room perusing Slickdeals for a deal.

They're for endurance athletes. Of course you could eat a waffle with syrup. But thats a LOT more space in your stomach compared to this. You could also eat a 14" pancake, but no.

These are great for athletes, price isnt shabby, either.

Vanilla and Strawberry flavors are currently cheaper @ 17.29 before coupon + S&S.

You can also use the 20% "first subscription" coupon on multiple S&S orders.

So after 20% coupon and 15% off S&S tier, you can get this for $11.24 (70¢ each waffle).

Which, I'll add, are much cheaper. That said, these Stinger waffles are tasty, and the variety of flavors sets them apart from stroopwafels which only come in stroop flavor >_<;;

Pretty sure regular waffles with syrup have a really high glycemic index so they should give you plenty of energy for a fraction of the price.

I feel like I've seen a stroopwaffel boom over last few years with wider availability so probably true.

I knew I'd had them somewhere. Had them on my last few flights... coudn't pinpoint where till your comment. That said, too many carbs for me (although i thought they were pretty delicious when I had them on flight).
