DEAD: Using Rewards Points
To use rewards points to purchase add-ons, you have to directly contact a Customer Service Representative at (888)316-0686. Otherwise your credit card would be charged. There is no way to make purchases online using rewards points.
Rewards program ended September 30, 2019.

[Update] I can go through "Change my plan" and select the 1000 talk/text + unlimited WiFi hotspot access.
When I sent a referral though, the offer for the recipient is 1000 talk/text + unlimited WiFi hotspot access by http://spotwifi.com/ I wanted to check coverage, but I can't get the mapping page to show me coverage for any city except San Diego which it starts on. Anyone else?

To get the 1000/0 plan, go to "Manage your plan/Change my plan" and check the 1000/0 plan box. New plan will start at beginning of new billing cycle.
For your newly-activated SIM, that IS weird! Maybe it grandfathered you into old plan, if you activated on same email address as an original 500/100 plan.
