Right, and I'm not going to spend $100 on a box of toothpicks either.

Fro $240 you can get yourself a Hobart Handler 125 EZ http://www.tractorsupply.com/-3806489 (300 - 20% HF coupon match)... and this welder will destroy the HF one in terms of quality. Plus you can sell it on CL for at least what you paid for it after you are done, AND it comes with some flux core, so if you have only a few things to weld all you need is a welding mask and you are set.

I'm not doubting you on the Hobart but I'm likely only using this thing maybe 2 times at the most that I can think of right now..

I'm in no rush so I did not pick up a helmet since in the store they were $79.. I did get a 1 year warranty for it

also so with my total check out I had gloves, flux welder and a ceramic knife.. so at first the guy was like let me scan the 20% off and see which one it takes off.. I knew it was going to be the welder.. So then he takes my printed coupon for the sale price of $89.. he had to enter it in because it would not scan but it took the price down to $89.

Any one have a scan or to the $12.99 3 ton Jack stands? I have the code 34142273 but would rather have the print out to be safe.

Also any deals on creepers?

Are the HF creepers any good? I see others locally around the same price as the HF one.

I have the plastic one, I'd get a metal frame one or better plastic one if I were to do it again. The plastic one seems to flex, the arm cups are not in the right spot for me, and I keep rolling over my hair (probably not the creepers fault). A good creeper is worth it's weight in gold if you work on your own stuff frequently.

Item #67449 or Item #2745

I can't' remember which one I have but it was ITC last year for $9.95 and at the time I thought this cheesy chinese knock off would have a short life with an even shorter death but to my amazement and certain abuse its held up quite well and at the least gained some of my respect.

After all most of the tools I buy at HF are in leu of renting them, if they last for the project I need then its a win, if they last longer then I consider it a bonus!

I just noticed you could not use the 20% off on welding stuff but it scanned anyways when I checked out.. but then again it was 15 min before closing and I'm sure they did not care..
