I'm looking for the same coupon for $149.
I bought it for 169 and have 1 week left in my 30 day period to get the price adjusted down.

Either way, its well worth the money! bounce

Does anyone know where to get the US General 5 drawer cart for $150? I can only find the $170 coupon.

I am also looking for the 26" combo toolbox coupon for $290. I was told this one is through itc or its or something like that.

Thanks

Be careful about buying one of these, and be sure to read the reviews on the website. I bought 2 different cheap (Harbor Freight class) bench grinders before I finally stepped up and bought a higher quality one. The cheaper grinders bog down easily, and have limited use. Nothing more frustrating than a tool that isn't up to the job.

Are all their brands junky or only the cheap ones? I did see some 'angle' grinders on sale, but they are real cheap. They're not bench models, though. They are hand/portable ones.
He doesn't use it that much, but still don't want it to break on him. Gave our other one to son.
Thanks, ST.

You shouldn't judge an item based on one person's experience. I have not had any problems with HF stuff but I haven't used their grinder. Read the reviews, watch some videos, buy and try one. There's nothing to lose really. There's a large amount of people bashing on HF stuff because they are not made in the USA.

If HF works fine for me I'm not going to buy a set costs 100x more just because it's a name brand. Well if I won the lottery that's a different story. There's just too many people owning brand name tools taking way too much pride and bashing on the cheap end stuff.

I've got the 6" one without the light that goes on sale for around $30. It's ok but it's pretty weak compared to the no name 6" that I have at work. The guards around the wheels are so big that it's very hard to grind on a large object like a lawnmower blade. The clear plastic safety shields wouldn't even bolt on to my grinder. They were missing some piece so I tossed them.

I have yet to change out one of the stones for a wire wheel, and I'm not sure how well it would work since you really can't put much pressure on it without bogging it down.

Would I buy it again? Maybe if I only had $30 to spend. If I had a bigger budget or planned to use it often, I would look for something better.

I also bought the universal bench grinder stand to go with it. That works alright but you need to either secure it down to a board or the floor or put some weight on it so it doesn't move around while your working or the grinder is powering down.

I agree, I always lol when people rip HF for being made in china when all the name brands are also made in china

Regarding your questions about the cheapo hand-held angle grinders, they're a good value. I have probably owned 7-8 of them over the last 10 years. In my experience, they work great until they seize up and start smoking. I just keep an extra stored in the garage and switch it out when the one I'm using dies. They're not high quality, but they are good enough, have decent power, and are cheap enough that you can just treat them as disposable. Oh, and I've never had to worry about using the spare brushes that come with them... they never last long enough. I just throw them out when I open the package now.

Bottom line: They're worth buying, particularly when there's a good coupon. (who really buys anything at HF without a sale/coupon?)

$29.99

You're in luck, just happened to go tonight and thought, I bet someone would be interested in those 6ton,..
Thanks much, DD. You are the man.

Any way you could tell me where that coupon is so I can get a real copy of it? I tried printing that pic you posted but I can't get it to come out looking proper and my HF is really strict on coupon stuff.
