Beware as many people have complained on trade process, here are just a couple recent comments:

Trade at your own risk, use a one time credit card for purchase or be prepared for possible trouble. This has been seen on almost every Samsung trade thread.
Samsung just sent me to collections for $50 for a trade-in from March that they denied for the galaxy s9+
Also keep in mind many users, including myself, have had no issues to trade-ins. For every unhappy customer, there are always hundreds of quiet happy ones.

Regarding the S10/S10+ factory pre-installed screen protector
Samsung's upcoming new flagship Galaxy S10 will be shipped with a factory pre-installed screen protector manufactured by Samsung. This is applicable for all global subsidiaries and for all variants of Galaxy S10. This decision was made to increase overall customer experiences with the improved screen durability and full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.
The factory pre-installed screen protector will not be covered under warranty; other in box accessories will remain under regular 1 year warranty (including Travel Adapter, USB Connector and AKG headset).
To ensure the full functionality of the Ultrasonic Fingerprint Sensor on Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, Samsung strongly encourage our carrier and retail partners to carry Samsung branded screen protectors as the replacement purchase option in stores. We cannot guarantee the experiences with screen protectors made of traditional glass and polyurethane materials. Samsung's replacement screen protector is available for all Galaxy S10 variants with MSRP of $29.99.

I've read all the rumors about Samsung and their shady trade in practices. Last year I traded in a device for the S9 and got the trade in credit and never heard from Samsung again. Today I get a letter in the mail from a collection agency for $300. I called Samsung they said it was because the device didn't meet the trade in requirements? Why would they not contact me and send it to collections? A bit of advice, DO NOT TRADE IN. If you do record a video of it with the IMEI on it. I know the phone I traded in was in great condition. They are supposedly going to investigate it but I'm not holding my breath.
