This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

it's the vinegar? the acid does something?

which i now use as fabric softener... vinegar that is, not windex. got a new washer and after i finished off the last bottle of fabric softener, started using my giant costco-sized heinz vinegar. after some experimenting, i figured out the correct amt so the clothes don't smell like salad dressing. works great and i never touched the bottle of snuggle i bought just in case. i think it's been like a year now so i'll either give that snuggle to my mom or brother or sell it at the next yard sale. also converted my bff to vinegar as fabric softener recently.

why vinegar for fabric softener? so wax doesn't build up inside my very expensive front load washer and grow mildew. vinegar removes the detergent buildup on clothes which makes it feel hard in the first place which causes you to use fabric softener. it's so much cheaper even if snuggle is made by dove. it's better for the environment. i need lots of vinegar around anyway to clean my humidifier so helps me use up the bottle.

hug You are a wise woman. I love vinegar and also gargle w/it and water ( 1/2 and 1/2 or more vinegar if I am really sick) when I get a sore throat. It nullifies the pain fast! hth.

Does anyone know if the Digiorno deal is still going on? Buy pizza for $3.99 get a 2 liter Coke for free? I don't have a SuperTarget near me so I didn't pay much attention to the deal, but I'm in Indianapolis and went to one tonight. I didn't see a sale price, but I did see peelies on some of the pizzas for $2 or $3 off a pizza and kraft dressing. I'd go back if the sale is still on. Not sure I need kraft dressing though...

A lot of the cashiers think that one per purchase means one per transaction. Apparently Target upper staff who approve the coupons think there is a difference, because many of the Target coupons say one per transaction now instead of one per purchase.

Right, but if you have someone with you, than two coupons can be used. One per each person per visit.

This is my logic too.

At Kohls I would use 5-6 $5Qs at a time and say "well...there is 5 of us"
(me & the 4 kidz - Yes, I take them ALL shopping with me nearly all of the time. Sometime get a break when the 2 boys are in school.)

I shop with my kiddo's too, very very rare that I get to go anywhere alone.

at Khols I would use a q, and give each kid a q with the exact $$ they would need. We stocked up on fancy socks, and dance tights.
