This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Were the peelies TQ?
No. They were MQs. Similar to the ones that were out before Xmas for $6 off Pooh and whatever. I would assume they are coded the same way.

Casserole or not, I don't think you'd want to eat my cooking, if you can call it that. I can get by with the basics, but that's about it. Thank goodness I've got other talents (quiet INAA, no need to comment Wink ) like shopping, because cooking certainly is not on the list.

Seriously, SPAM emails. I'm running a little test to see how many I can accumulate through registering at one particular website. So far, it's working as I anticipated (which I'm happy about).
Maybe you need to make some blue SPAM casserole Teehee

Just did a walk through this morning with DS to check prices on a few things. I'm almost feeling well enough for a good run. But not tonight because it's Monday.

I did notice that there were several Disney movies right at the $10 price point. Mickey's 3 Mouseketeers (or something like that), Enchanted, Hercules, maybe a few others I can't remember. Bolt on DVD isn't out yet, but the Bolt BlueRay is. They had $6 off wyb Bolt and Lilo & Stitch peelies on them. Posting this here because the deal thread makes me want to poke my eye out with a stick.
Thanks for the info.. Maybe I will head out tonight and peelie shop.. Isn't it kinda weird that they have the blueray version out but not the regular dvd.. crazy folksLMAO
So, the 10.00 off from buying both should come off automatically at the end right? Then minus the 2 printable qs should make for a nice deal.. would be great to be able to use a peelie as well, too bad it isn't a TQ.

If it was a TQ then I'd have way too many copies of those movies at my house! That would be an incredible deal. I think the $10 should come off automatically. They had a similar deal with the 101 and 102 Dalmations last year and it autodeducted the $10 once the 2nd movie scanned.

Ha ha! That is my rule too, but I went last week on a Monday (night) and had a stellar run. IDK what possesed me to shop...perhaps Sheba casserole with a side of Pantene and Crest kid's toothpaste. Roll I think I am making up for the first trimester of lost time!

Oh hey since many of you are K couponers as well. I forget if 992's over $3 cause the pop up screen during doubles? Baby brain for sure!

Uh oh - someone asked about a stroller. I have a slightly mild stroller obsession, so I've always got an opinion on these matters. laugh out loud

IMO, Bob strollers are the best out there for power walking. Here is the one I'd recommend - it's got the smaller 12" wheels, so it folds up smaller than the single bob revolution jogger, but is still an amazing stroller for power walking or jogging. Pricey, but well worth it, IMO. I don't think Target carries them, but Amazon and lots of other retailers do. Big Grin

I'm not terribly tall, but one other thing about the bobs is that they are long (front to back), so the distance between the handle bar and the back of the stroller is pretty long which makes it less likely for your DH to kick the stroller, even when taking large strides.

Oh, and if you do go this route, also make sure you get the Bob handle bar console - very handy for holding keys, drinks, etc, etc.

Secret And you can also get an infant carseat adapter for it - just in case another little stormy comes along Wink

Underweather Underweather
It poured! And I mean poured until 3:35. Party was to start at 3:30 and DH was trying to get me to cancel it. I refused, of course, and it stopped for about 1 1/2 hours so the kids were able to get into the bounce house....once we drained it and dried the inside from the flood!
So it ended up being great as I have some real troopers as friends.
I don't know if I would have showed up to a party in a park in that weather!!!!!

Thanks for the thoughts....you parted the clouds for us for a bit!!!! woot
Oh darn!! I was hoping it wouldn't rain much...but Saturday did have quite a bit of rain. I'm glad you were still able to enjoy your party!! woot

We got this.

ETA: Ugh, so that link doesn't work. It's the Baby Trend Expedition XL Jogger.

Like it so far though it hasn't gotten a real workout yet.

My experience is that they all do during doubles. The easiest thing to do is to put them at the bottom of your stack. Since the box will pop up with every item that doesn't have a Q already attached to it, this way you minimize the number of items that the cashier has to scroll through.

Ok, been out of the loop with the whole Kmart doubling thing... I'm not sure if my KM has been doing doubles or not. Several times people would be saying they were doubling coupons, but it turned out only the Super KM's were having the doubles. Have the regular KM's been having doubles as well? I did a couple of runs way in the beginning of the whole KM Doubling thing, but haven't been back for a while (could never figure out if doubles were happening in my area or not - the online fliers always showed no go). For whatever reason, I find navigating thru the KM Doubles thread tiring... Embarrassment Thanks for any input you guys can give!!

If you go to their website, put in your zip and pull up the ad online it will say on the front page if your K is doubling or not.

We don't have SuperK, just regular and we have doubles this week. But it seems to be somewhat random at to who gets them and who doesn't.

I avoid the box like the plague during doubles. The cashiers always fark it up. So I just use coupons that will not bring it up at all!

Edit: We've only had 2 rounds of doubles. One in August or so and another a few weeks ago.

I've discovered the reason why the Cheetos coupon always beeps. You have to look really closely at the picture - it says "Super" on it at the bottom of the pic. Evidently the coupon is coded for just the super size. I had a GSTL point that out. Are the coupons really that smart any more?? I guess they could be...

We haven't had them here in a long time either. I'm still hopeful every time someone posts about it.
