This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Whee Free Fart bars

Scratchchin I wonder if they make Fart Free bars? Speaking of...I bought cucumbers today for the garden and they are burpless cucumbers.

Also, maybe a Southern thing, who knows....but my Grandma still smacks me if I say fart. She acts like its a curse word laugh out loud
This whole post made me laugh out loud.

And yes, my Georgia raised mom would do the same thing. Even as an adult, I am still recovering from my emotional wounds. I cannot say fart out loud!!

My son could never pronounce his "ar" so it was toget = target, poty =party, walmot, fot, etc.....
It always seemed like he could say fart better than any other "ar" word though.
When he was 4, I talked to a speech teacher about it (he had been screened in preschool and they saw no problem with his speech since that was his only issue) she told me to point to my mouth when I said the word, and dead serious he never had a problem again - after years of frustration.

Who's in for the cheese curls? Buck-and-a-half, buck-seventy-five, a buck-and-a-half?? How many you need, ma'am? LMAO

Here's [msn.com] an article about food auctions - this guy who runs a particular auction says he sells $12,000 worth of food stuff and makes about $1,000 profit!!! LOL!!! OMG - how much profit do you think you guys would make if you sold $12,000 worth of FRESH stuff!!! I almost fell off my chair - this story is on MSNBC.

I have got to get in on the pooting/tooting convo. Why, I dunno...

My brother-in-law's late father would say, whenever he or anyone else had "air": "Keep hollerin' Cap'n! We'll find you!"

Maybe you had to be there, but it still makes me laugh!

Roll That is too much!

DD babysits a little one that is nearly 4 and she has called them "body noises" for the longest time. Her mom has no idea where she got that saying.

When I was a kid I babysat this family that called them "pluckies". Dontknow

This baby has made me a bit more gassy than normal and it typically hits when I lie down for bed. I have to tell DH "fire in the hole". If DD is in bed with me, she begs for me to not move the blankies. Roll
