After months of waiting finally ordered my monolith sub. Can't wait after all the great reviews of it. For anybody on the fence monoprice hasn't allowed the coupons to work on the monolith subs since early last year I as far as I can tell. They also appear to have raised the price across other channels like eBay and urlhasbeenblocked a few days ago on the 12 and 15 inch.
Thanks I saw the sales they just had...

I won't try to convince anybody of anything. Just giving up a heads to people on the fence that this sale seems to be pretty rare especially on the 15".

If someone wanted to drown themselves in data and opinions on the models check out avsforums. People there that do testing and know more than me on it.

I just know after months of research, for my needs and my room these appear to have the best output and accuracy vs cost. I won't really know till I get it though.
Any real home theater enthusiast would have dual MASSIVE subs though!

Doesn't look like it's working on any of the 5.1 speaker setups even though it says all monoprice items 😔

From everything I've been researching the svs are great. Better service free returns etc. However that seems to make them not the best value. For example the PB3000 is similar to the monolith 12 and that one is $1399. Some say the 4000 series is like the monolith 15 and that is $1800 if I remember correctly. My choice in the end if this sale didn't come up was a PSA or HSU sub not SVS.

Check out the SVS outlet. Basically perfect condition for ~20% off with same service, warranty, etc.

Just here to offer an another opinion, been doing research myself on avs.

Are you finding monolith over svs? Looking at 10" myself, not sure the cost difference is worth it for me for larger.

I was tempted by the President's Day sale at SVS outlet, but the reviews I saw seemed to indicate that the monolith was a better value. I was waiting for a 20% off coupon...perfect timing. In for a Monolith 12!

Guess that depends on how big your room is. What you use it for. What you want out of a sub. If you want my opinion, yes the monolith is the better value and going bigger will only make you happier if your goal is to feel the bass.

Indeed, I suppose that was a very loaded question Smilie

Enjoy the sub, it is going to be awesome!
