This should be Hikvision DS-2CD2385FWD-I. We normally get these for $140+ from local source with our resller price. These are legit cameras. Better WDR, VCA, ANR features to this Swann deal imho

Remember to mount these high. unlike dome setups this camera is much easier to turn by hand if mounted low enough.

Night vision is crap on these. I bought one a while ago thinking it would be better then a trusty 2 MP with imx290

Depending on what you compare to. These are just IR night vision. In my case color night vision is still picky on environment

I keep going back to Dahua 2MP Starlights. From what I have read, "fewer megapixels on the same-size sensor means each individual pixel is larger, and therefore lets in more light and produces better photos in low-light conditions"

i have the bullet version which cost me $125 from china
so $120 is what you'd pay from any low balling ali* seller.

night vision on a >3mp cam is mostly an issue when it's
nearly pitch black. if your scene has street and porch
lights nearby, you'll get useful black&white night at 8mp.

be advised if you depend on the higher >h.264+ compression
the firmware will limit some of your detection trigger events
which was no big deal since the ones left are more accurate.

i would not depend on ie11 solely to set these up, because
that old browser have problems with these newer ip cams.
the webcomponents.exe that works at 8mp are 3061|6|8.

the lens can be diy changed with most fixed m12 5mp lens,
but you put the focus, waterproofing and ccd chip at risk,
so only proceed if you are confident with your diy skills.

Great deal on these. I have 10 of these running on my Laview 4k 16 channel system currently. Great picture. I have 4K domes on the other 6 channels and these are great in rain as they dont get blurred out. Will be picking up a few more to replace my domes with now.

I thought the swan turret is the same Hikvision equivalent. Why would this Laview turret have better features?

Also what are the benefits of a turret vs dome (besides having a cover)?

Thanks.
