This should be Hikvision DS-2CD2385FWD-I. We normally get these for $140+ from local source with our resller price. These are legit cameras. Better WDR, VCA, ANR features to this Swann deal imho

Depending on what you compare to. These are just IR night vision. In my case color night vision is still picky on environment

so $120 is what you'd pay from any low balling ali* seller.
night vision on a >3mp cam is mostly an issue when it's
nearly pitch black. if your scene has street and porch
lights nearby, you'll get useful black&white night at 8mp.
be advised if you depend on the higher >h.264+ compression
the firmware will limit some of your detection trigger events
which was no big deal since the ones left are more accurate.
i would not depend on ie11 solely to set these up, because
that old browser have problems with these newer ip cams.
the webcomponents.exe that works at 8mp are 3061|6|8.
the lens can be diy changed with most fixed m12 5mp lens,
but you put the focus, waterproofing and ccd chip at risk,
so only proceed if you are confident with your diy skills.

I thought the swan turret is the same Hikvision equivalent. Why would this Laview turret have better features?
Also what are the benefits of a turret vs dome (besides having a cover)?
Thanks.
