If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

No first year free so the $95 discount is basically $100 in points now.

I read that as 48 mo since you received a bonus, not since you last had the card. Am I incorrect in my assessment?

I'd get the csr as well since the net difference in fees is $55 assuming you collect on the $300 travel rebate

Yea I was bummed to see the 48 month period between eligibility for rewards. Wife and I had been alternating who gets the card every year. Now we'll have to wait another couple of years. Oh well... Capital One Savor is our latest choice

I tried this last year and they will not match the other promos. I signed up literally within hours of difference of one promo to the next and they wouldn't do it. I tried talking to Managers etc. They all suggested if I really wanted it to sign up under my wife and get the new promo as well. They made it seem like you can switch between yourself and your spouse and keep getting promos.

Wow 48 months now. Making it harder and harder to get the bonus again.
I guess it's still better than the Amex once per card rule

Not a slick bonus. $600 for spending $4k. There are other cards that do better
It's actually a net of $500 for $4k after accounting for the upfront membership fee.

It's only a slick deal if it's a fresh opportunity to harvest a new sign up bonus. Some of us are running out of fresh opportunities.

The CO Savor card is better at $500 for $3k and fee waived for first year if you haven't done it yet.

It's also better to do the Ink business cards because they don't add to your 5/24 count.

Is this the best credit card deal out there at the moment or is there better? I need something to float me for a few months before I can get back in on the SW Rapid Rewards cards.

Do the Southwest RR cards also have the 48 month stipulation?
