If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull

Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc

Priority pass is accepted at a couple dozen airport restaurants in addition to airport lounges (you typically get a $28 per person credit)
1.5 is the rate you get for the points in the chase travel portal with the CSR- it's 1.25 with the CSP.
To beat that you need to transfer the points from chase to an airline or hotel, where you can often (but not always) beat either rate- sometimes by quite a lot for higher classes of air travel and some Hyatt hotel bookings.
There's really no good reason to do this card (CSP) when the CSR exists if you travel any significant amount.
You won't get it. If you had received any bonus at all in last 48 months. Plus it would need to be new account application not just an upgrade

Almost nothing you just wrote is accurate.
For one- you never "have to" tip- at all.
it's polite to do so in the US where server wages are hilariously low, but you're free to do so in whatever amount, or none at all, you wish.
For another-I just picked 3 at random from the list- one in DC- which is open 6 AM to 10 PM... one in LA- which is open 11 AM to 11 PM... and one in Houston- open 6 AM to 10 PM.... so no idea where you get this "THEY ALL CLOSE EARLY" idea from....I imagine there might be a few that close early because the airport doesn't run late flights, but they appear to be very much the minority.
For a third- did you notice you manage in the same post to claim these places would otherwise be empty, and also that they're so busy they turn away PP people? Do you see how those kind of contradict each other?
In any event, my post was just answering someones question about what another guy meant by using PP at restaurants.... certainly the restaurants are overpriced- so are all airport restaurants...but I've never had any issue finding something decent and filling that was covered by the $28/pp credit.... (and it's usually good on booze too if you prefer) so it's a nice benefit to use in airports where you don't otherwise have access to a lounge with free food/drinks.

Those are all business cards though. The only UR earning Chase personal card available to you would be the CFU, which obviously doesn't pack a big signup bonus.
