If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.
Be careful not to waste a hard credit pull Smilie

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

How long does the 60k points apply to your account? Do I have to wait the full three months or whenever I spend the $4k. I am looking to redeem the points for a trip in September - is it too late for me?

You do not have to wait the full 3 months. Generally the points will show as pending shortly after you satisfy the minimum spend account and will post to your account when the current statement period closes.

How can I check to see if it has been 48 months since I got a bonus? When I check on creditKarma I only see when I closed a card (usually at the end of the first year) but it doesn't show the specific card. It only says "JPMBC Card Services" under closed accounts. Those could be anything...southwest etc.... Any way to find out when I got this bonus or at least closed this card? Thanks

Not odd at all- each bank has completely different rules for card approvals- they're generally pretty easy to look up.

My wife and I both share a chase banking account. Last year I opened up a chase sapphire rewards card in my name. If my wife we're to sign up for this credit card would we still qualify for the 60,000 points? Also the $4,000 in the first three months can be $4,000 spent on anything? (i.e. not just travel). Thanks!

I finally got my 60,000 point bonus after my most recent statement date. I signed up for the card in April, got the $95 fee May 1st. I will put a reminder in my calendar to downgrade or cancel the card next April

On a side note, I I haven't decided whether to just transfer the $600 to my account or use the 25% bonus points for travel. I quickly looked up how much a flight I'm taking in July will cost and the price was high through their portal.

Best value is usually transferring to an airline (or hotel for some Hyatt bookings)

That was my concern as well.

Another member said to use Expedia and you can use your points directly on Expedia instead of going thru the portal.

Can't confirm if this works maybe another member can.

Yes, she is eligible for the bonus on her own card. If your Sapphire card is a CSP, you can refer her and get the referral bonus too.

Yes, the $4,000 can be spent on anything.

Anyone know if you can get a second CSP card using an EIN number. (or does this work only for bus. cards)

You can't apply for personal credit with a business tax ID.
