If you currently have any kind of Saphire personal card that is active, you will NOTqualify for bonus points, even if you are approved.
If you close your Saphire card recently, you will need to wait 48 months from the date you received the previous Saphire bonus before applying to get the new card's bonus points.

Chase T&C:
"The product is not available to either (i) current cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card, or (ii) previous cardmembers of any Sapphire credit card who received a new cardmember bonus within the last 48 months. If you are an existing Sapphire customer and would like this product, please call the number on the back of your card to see if you are eligible for a product change. You will not receive the new cardmember bonus if you change products."
95 af is not waived for first year basically previously it was 50k with 95 waived first year now it's 60k with 95 af so pretty much the same
Also I'll get csr rather than csp if you spend 3400+ in travel, dining etc
It is pretty straightforward. When you use your card for ANY travel purchase (like Airbnb, airfare, hotels, Lyft, Uber, parking, some tolls, and many others), you will automatically be reimbursed, until you've spent a total of $300 on travel. In other words, Chase will pay for the first $300 in travel you spend each year with your card.

Do you get more points for using referred link?

No, all the benefits including the bonus of 60k stays the same.
Referrer gets 15k points which they usually share with the one being referred!

After they get approved, you should see your referral points within a couple of billing cycles (or about 8 weeks) on your statement.

I got my CSP cancelled just two weeks back. My wife was added on it as additional user.
Can she still apply for CSP and get the benefits? She was added user not against who the card was open.

I think she would be eligible. Best would to call chase CS and confirm before applying!

Is the 48 months based on last I received the bonus or last I cancel the card? (Just say the card was cancel 2 years ago, but the points I last received was more than 48 months already).

Based on when you last received your bonus.

Have a 5 year old Chase Freedom that doesn't get used@ all.
Can this be converted to a Sapphire Preferred & also get the sign up 60k pts?
Or just keep the Freedom & signup separately for the SP?

Tons of people saying this isn't worth it the the Reserve being out. Too bad it's not $550! I was considering it for $450 since the 30 travel credit could be easy to attain.

You have to apply for the CSP as a new card. You can, however, consolidate and close the CF and transfer the credit line to the CSP by sending them a message after opening the new account.
